Well if you’ve read any of my blogs, you know that’s a YES for me dawg. & I know you’re probably skeptical, especially if you’ve never witnessed it before, but look check me out. check me out. China is still China even if you’ve never been there before. you do not have to experience something for it to be true.
but let’s get into it.
what is love at first sight?
is it something we leave to the movies like our favorite 1997, 48 hour romance between Rose & Jack? a fan favorite. relationship goals or naw? I mean, would your man die for you boo? probably not. half of them won’t stop cheating for two months let alone drown for you. clock it.
or is it simply only reserved for the soon-to-be princesses like Cinderella or Megan Markle? because according to our guy Prince Harry, he knew first moments shared. period pooh. love at first sight. 100 points.
According to science, it’s not really a thing. According to psychology, it might be a thing. but if you ask me, it’s a SURE THING. it’s the truest form of love there is. like the day your mother met you. your spirit knows what your mind can’t comprehend. i like to call those miracles. a union put together by a greater power. we might call it the universe. we might call it God. that’s for you to decide.
luckily, love at first sight isn’t just for fairy tales or royalty… it’s for friends too or should i say soul sisters. because God works in mysterious ways. some years ago, i was working with this company where we were working on the 5G upgrades before the 5G upgrades happened. remote. no zoom. thank God! & a girl ended up joining us because she recently had a bby and needed to work remote before going back to the office. she was so sweet & we had such good rapport even on the phone and team chats. i appreciated the feminine energy because i was the only girl. anywho, we eventually all transitioned back into the office downtown chicago a few weeks after my mom died, and i just loved this girl. at first sight. my gawd. she’s gorgeous! & sweet as pie.
so now that we’re in the office, we’re going to lunch together. regularly. hanging out. sharing stories. you would think that we’ve been friends forever. we loved a lot of the same things. we encouraged one another. inspired each other. when I would go to lunch by myself sometimes, she would randomly surprise me and pay for my lunch. how sweet is that? & she would never let me return the favor. I would always shower her with compliments and tell her how beautiful and amazing she was. because she really was! guys, we gotta start telling people how we feeeel! & she would always say, “wow I’ve never had a friend like you.” which was odd to me because she was a very bad b.tch! but it was a very easy breezy beautiful and blissful friendship. my grandmother ended up passing a few months later, so I quit my job, but our friendship didn't end there. in fact she would even stop by my house to check on me, bring ice cream, keep me company, do my makeup for events. a sister. my step-mom didn’t event visit and she raised me. anyways.
but as we all know, God is omnipresent & is always mysteriously and miraculously working on things behind the scenes. & to follow that plan, you have to listen to that voice. intuition. follow your spirit if you want to follow god’s plan instead of yours.
Prov. 3 Verse 5: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding

our friendship was made in the womb of our mothers. it’s not that our souls knew each other in another lifetime, but it was our mothers. who were friends. i can’t make this stuff up. when i read this message, i was in a cabin in the woods in south carolina, when i tell you I CRIED real tears. because what??? her mom called me & i could not stop crying, y’all. this was so divine. & it was a reminder that whenever i feel alone, i never am. I knew I loved this woman the day I met her. it was something special about her and i felt connected to her we didn’t find out what it was until a year or two later. real soul sisters.
now i don’t know if turned any non-believers into praying believers for their soul mates called sisters or not, but maybe i planted a seed. & i’m not saying we should love strangers or people you meet at work, lol but it’s not hard to eventually love people you spend a lot of time with. that’s a natural byproduct of being around someone. i think, but if something makes you cross a room for someone & it makes no logical sense. go with it. if you meet someone and your spirit feels a different type of ease or safety. follow it. I think love, at first sight, is a very pure form of love that we don’t give as much recognition as it deserves as we mature and settle with logic in our daily decisions. Loving someone at first sight doesn’t mean it’ll last forever or that they’ll be perfect. But something in your spirit might be telling you that you’re meant to hold hands in life. maybe you just resonate with one another because of love. the highest energy. pure. God’s energy. no alterior motives. & i must say, it was never a person i’ve resonated with in this way that came with regrets, it was always the one’s that i made make logical sense. the ultimatums are the real antichrist. God did not have her hand in that. so trust the real magic of love. Trust God. Trust yourself. Trust Life. & know that you’re not always in control, but everything is always happening in divine order. trust those feelings. emotions are energy in motion! love you long time.
