We had a ball! as you can see in the gif created above. that’s my friend Dasha (who invited me) and two New Yorkers. a ball was had. a time commenced. & it was so relaxing. all at the same. damn. time! okay rejuvenation. we see you. & you know the vibes follow wherever we go. & they multiply when two rays of sunshine link up. so let’s get into it because i love the pictures i took.

love was in the air. look. cute right? vibes don’t lie. & look at my friend. she’s beautiful. like wow! there were lots of spring breakers on family trips & to my surprise so many Chicago folks. burbs. not city. we even met a guy from Austin. what? & a 4 letter word that 50 cent described himself as named pj. he was cool af. but look at this picture i took.

we went to a private island and vibed with the flamingos. so pretty. right? fed em too. & yes, they bit us.

had naps and margaritas on the beach & swam in the ocean. baptized yesterday’s worries in real salt water. watched the sunset & waited for it to make the perfect pink hue. Dasha’s favorite color. had the sweetest girl talks and reminisced on 10 years of friendship met with sweet, vulnerable conversations. where real intimacy resides. randomly got my neck popped & cracked by a local who wasn’t a chiropractor, but he definitely knew what he was doing. my trust in god was in his hands at 2 am outside of a burger joint. what am I 21 again? i guess for the weekend. don’t ask me no questions. spent nights in lazy rivers & went to a supervised high school party. interesting. because I went to a damn near hbcu kind of highschool. hashtag African American culture. & we wound up in after-parties with locals, where we met the cutest mommy-daughter duo. they were so sweet & for a yt woman, mom aged well! saved money on taxis by meeting friends with rentals while also picking up strangers & all vibing with it. are you reading this like wtf girl? i still post on snapchat so the girls who get it. got it. & saw it live.

but the best part of the trip was simply spending quality time with my good girlfriend! it was stress-free, easy peasy, adventurous, relaxing, and full of sisterly love.
